“9.79″ ESPN 30 for 30 Film debuts Tuesday 10/9

Directed by Daniel Gordon, “9.79″ categories the controversial 1988 Men’s 100m Olympic Final which ultimately saw Canadian Ben Johnson’s then world record setting time of 9.79 seconds disqualified just three short days after his Gold Medal victory due to a failed drug test and subsequently awarding rival American Carl Lewis the title; hence, making Lewis
the first man to repeat as 100-meter Olympic Gold Medalist.

The film is the second of this year’s ESPN 30 for 30 season and premieres Tuesday October 9 at 8pm ET.
